Sergio Centurión has over thirty years of experience in the oil and gas industry, a field he has been passionate about since graduating from university as an Industrial Engineer with a Mechanical focus. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to work across multiple areas —engineering, operations, sales, and HSE— which has allowed him to understand the full life cycle of a well, from completion to production optimization.

His specialty lies in stimulation, hydraulic fracturing, and specialized chemical treatments, with solid experience in production enhancement. He has been actively involved in developing solutions that increase well efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and deliver sustainable value to operations. Over the years, he has led technical and commercial teams, contributing to growth and consolidation in both domestic and international markets. During the past two years at TenEx, he has successfully leveraged his broad and diverse experience to help strengthen the company’s position within the oil and gas industry.

 

Sergio considers himself blessed by the family that surrounds him, maintaining a close relationship with his wife and three children, and especially with his granddaughter, who continually challenges him in his new role as a grandfather. He deeply enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, watching films of various genres, reading about history and world affairs, and staying active through physical exercise. He firmly believes in the value of one’s word, open communication, and commitment to one’s thoughts and beliefs—principles that guide the way he lives, leads, works, and connects with others.
