Abdelrahman El-Diasty is a Petroleum Engineering expert who joined Preferred Investments (formerly known as Prime Rock Energy Capital) in November 2016, where he played a key role in building and scaling the minerals business during its early growth stages. He established and led a multidisciplinary international team of petroleum engineers, software engineers, and data scientists to develop a state-of-the-art, data-driven due diligence platform that automated evaluation workflows and enabled smarter, faster investment decisions with superior risk-adjusted returns.

With 11+ years of experience, Abdelrahman served as VP of Petroleum Engineering, leading the evaluation of more than $10B+ in oil and gas investment opportunities primarily across the Permian Basin and Mid-Continent regions.

His work has also included driving new technology implementation in the Eastern Hemisphere and Middle East — along with leading initiatives in land management, advanced financial modeling, and fund performance optimization. Today, Abdelrahman leads technical business development efforts for TenEx Technologies — supporting commercialization, field trials, and strategic growth initiatives within the U.S. market and across the Eastern Hemisphere.

Outside of work, Abdelrahman maintains a disciplined daily routine beginning with an early morning run and reading time. He also enjoys horseback riding and playing piano.

He holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Suez University, Egypt.
